Purpose of Big Hearts An event for the pageant participants to have a special night to share their talents and build confidence. An opportunity to raise community awareness of people with disabilities and ESP’s role in working with children and young adults with developmental disabilities. A fundraiser to help cover costs of summer camp and an opportunity to recruit volunteers who may turn into summer camp counselors. |

The 2011 Big Hearts Pageant ran so smoothly thanks to our many dedicated volunteers. This year, ESP is looking for 100 individuals to assist in the implementation of the Pageant to ensure that it is our most successful event to date!
If you are interested in volunteering backstage with the Contestants, please click here. Please note that backstage volunteers are required to attend all pageant practices with the Contestants on the following dates: Saturday, 12/10; Saturday, 1/28; and all day on Saturday, 2/4 (Pageant day).

If you are interested in assisting the staff on the night of the pageant, please sign up through our listing on HandsOn Northeast Georgia. These volunteers will assist with the Silent Auction, sell flowers, manage People's Choice Award, greet guests as they arrive, and usher guests to their seats.
